Anyone else bloody knackered...

It's got to that time in the year when I need a nap and I am berating myself for not popping to Spain for a couple of nights to read my book by the sea..... instead I need to get a grip and get all my class prep done so I am ready for a week off in April. Next year remind me I need half term off as well lol.
When I get to this point, that's when I'm really grateful to have other people's choreo to hand. My brain is devoid of all creativity (even this email... I just had to bleat on about how tired I am) so I am currently perusing other folks choreo in the Fitness Library so I can just learn it and go. I'm going over some old Hype Dance Fit choreo and shoving some of Nat's Dance Fit choreo in so that my lovely clients get the rejuvenation in the playlist that they need but also I don't have to think of anything new. Which is good because I could probably manage to step touch for an hour at this point in time.
This is one of the reasons we ended up with so much stuff in the Fitness Library. We definitely started out to help instructors feel confident with resistance training, but over time it has involved into something we all need when our brains are all out of ideas. And let's be honest, most of us want to add our own flavour into the stuff we teach, even if it's pre-choreographed, but just sometimes we've got nothing left in our tired grey matter.
That's probably one of the only downsides to this job. Needing to have creativity and energy even when we are a bit knackered or we've got our own stuff going on. But on the flip side, having to show up for other people definitely gives us a boost so I guess it is swings and roundabouts. I know I'll definitely feel better after I've pranced about tonight and then got my lovely clients to throw some weights around in Flex Appeal!
Anyhow, if you are knackered too, here's a big energy-full hug. We can 100% get this done and feel the magic!
