We all know that street dance has increased the amount of people that dance can reach – which is GREAT!…… but what happens if you are a ballet or contemporary teacher and you need to get street on your timetable but deep down you are aware that all you really know is coming from watching BGT vids on YouTube.
The AMF Dance Library is a catalogue of the different styles of street dance as well as a history lesson, movement bank and combination & choreography ideas. Learn from some of the UK’s top specialists in each field and walk away with content that you can use on that day. Keeping the history and technique of the fundamentals of street dance is an integral part of why this website exists – whilst we all LOVE dancing to Britney (who doesn’t!), it’s safe to say that it is not a true representation of the art of street dance.
This library starts with a catalogue of old-skool hip-hop, house and popping and will soon be growing to incorporate breaking, waacking and locking.
If you want regular class content, an instructor forum to chat to your colleagues WITHOUT needing to be on social media and REAL information that can be directly used without having to trawl through diluted YouTube clips then click below for more information on our AMF Dance Library.
