As you all know, it can be difficult for our clients to ’feel’ their back muscles contract, and one of the reasons can be because they have limited mobility, tight muscles and uncomfortable movement patterns. Ensuring that our clients can feel the most mobile (not flexible) that their particular anatomy allows will reduce tension as well as allowing the client to work more efficiently and with a better mind to muscle connection.

This section is hugely important for our clients who may have postural problems, have a predominantly seated job or who may have to realign what they think they know about moving properly. Having comfortable mobility will allow our clients to move better, to improve their mind to muscle connection and to perform movements with more efficiency and less pain. Mobility is different from flexibility and it is important to recognise that each person’s mobility will be completely different due to their unique anatomy.
