Lesson 1 – Mid-Back Activation & Bodyweight Training
Before we lift any weights, it would be pertinent to get this section nailed. Many of our clients will be best to start with the exercises in this section before moving on to weighted lifts. Indeed, many of these exercises will still serve us for warm-ups & activation drills even as our clients progress.
Lesson 2 – Mid-Back Mobility
As you all know, it can be difficult for our clients to ’feel’ their back muscles contract, and one of the reasons can be because they have limited mobility, tight muscles and uncomfortable movement patterns. Ensuring that our clients can feel the most mobile (not flexible) that their particular anatomy allows will reduce tension as well as allowing the client to work more efficiently and with a better mind to muscle connection.

We all know it is generally easier to sell a fun cardio class than it is to sell a resistance session BUT with patience and dedication, your resistance classes will be the only retention tool you need in your business. Your clients will come back again and again to learn more, to feel stronger and to thank you for helping them perform better both within exercise and in their own lives
